major rip-offMay 19, 2010 This book's premise is fine, and the exercises are reasonable. It would have made a perfectly good magazine article. But instead, he has padded the thing out beyond belief. The first 60 pages are trivial rehashes of information anyone who's ever read anything about fitness could repeat back, printed in big type with lots of title pages, but that's simply harmless. What's inexcusable is the repeating word for word, picture for picture, all the "belly day" exercises for each of three levels: all four pages of each Monday's routines are repeated for Wednesday, and again for Friday!
Conclusion: $4 worth of information, packaged in a slick and annoying self-promoting $12.95 package.

So Far, So GoodApr 04, 2010 I have been following the routine and meal plans in "8 Minutes in the Morning to a Flat Belly" for a little over two weeks now (almost a record in my exercising history!). So far it has been very easy to follow. I like that it doesn't require the purchase of "gym clothes," membership fees, and driving to the gym. This is done at home, on my own schedule. Also, the meal plans are rather tasty and don't leave you feeling hungry. Usually when I am on a "diet" all I can think about is when the next meal will be. This is not the case here. I hope to keep following this plan and see the inches disappear!

Great belly ExercisesNov 02, 2009 I first checked this book out at our local library and I loved it so much I bought it. Great book lots of great tips and positive motivation, the exercises really work I have lost 60 pounds and have lots of loose belly skin and soft muscle tissue and I have also had 8 children and I am only 37years old so my belly has been very neglected for years, so the 8 minutes really works its fast and motivating thoughts great positioning tips and photos of how to do the right position and how to breath the right way, which I believe is the key to the flat belly I have been breathing wrong all along and killing myself with crunches....no more crunches yeah! There are a few exercises I still have a hard time with thats why I only gave it a 4 star rating, but like I said I have had 8 children so my stomach needs lots of TLC. anyway great book.

8 minutes in the MorningSep 14, 2009 This book is very help ful to me as it lists the food catagories and gives examples of what to eat. The exercises are mindless but they sure are getting the work done. I added the exersises to my regular routine. I walk/run at least 3 miles each morning then do an hour of basic excersise. I take off exersisng on Sundays and sure feel lazy.

sgold dissappointedwith first week none resultsMar 22, 2009 bought the 8 Minutes in the Morning for Extra easy Weight Losss book and followed it religiously from exercises to Meal preparations. Really enjoyed the meals, and the easy exercises, but have had no results, whatsoever. Besides that I do Pelates twice a week at a gym, and I was sure that with this little boost, surely I would loose weight. I'm dissappointed, but will continue on to week two, perhaps then I will see a difference, hopefully.
