SmellsAug 25, 2010 This product is poisonous. I can say that is not true for all of them, my friend bought the same mat, and it was OK. My theory is that someone returned the mat, and they spray it with poison for re-sale. Anyways, my mat smells so bad, it stunk up a 2000 sq ft yoga room, and I had to leave. The poison foamed up when I swet onto it. This is very different from the rubbery smell that is normal.
Don't buy it! It could poison you!
I like it. Kids like it.Nov 22, 2009 How much is there to say about a yoga mat? As far as comfort, I'm happy with it, although I'm content to practice on the floor. The mat is purple, which makes it a magnet for my daughter, who loves dragging it out to use with her own kiddie yoga video. For me, the mat has length to spare, as I'm only 5' tall. I don't always use it, though, because I sweat very easily, and I find that this mat only retains its sticky quality for so long under such wetness. Overall, though, I've used it for a few years now, and it has no nicks or tears nor has the color faded.
Good Beginner's MatMay 09, 2008 I wanted my own mat because I was getting sick from using my studio's mats. This mat was the right price for how I was going to use it and I was pleasantly surprised at its thickness -- not too thick that I'm unstable on balance poses yet thick enough to provide cushion for my knees. This is a good mat that serves its purposes well for beginner or intermediate yogis. The traction/stickness is built up over time so beware of the first uses that feet and hands can slip some.

Gorgeous color, just right for my practiceAug 13, 2007 I really like this yoga mat. It is a thinner one, at 1/4 inch, but that's really all I need as I don't have any joint or back problems. I never slip while using it, which is great for poses like Downward Dog. I am 5'4" tall, so the length is great for me - nice and long so that when I lay in Savasana, my whole body is on the mat. I picked a pretty sky blue color which is calming. I would recommend a solid color, because the printed mats' designs are painted on the surface and will undoubtedly peel off. Anyway, this is a great mat for those who need a non-slip surface and don't require much padding.

the print sticks...May 09, 2007 I think this mat is pretty but I had the same problem as others that when I first unrolled the mat, the ink from the paisley stuck to the mat and I had to rip little chunks out of the mat to get it unrolled. I thought it was just my bad luck to get this, but it seems others have had the same problem.
otherwise, it seems to work fine.
