Much better than liquid formJul 19, 2008 I actually ordered this to see if it would help reverse a frequent condition I have with loose stools. I had heard that taking extra fiber often does. Sense taking the Metamucil capsules, I seem to be almost back to normal but I can't really say if it is the result of taking the Metamucil or not. My only complaint is that you have to remember to drink lots of water or possibly suffer the consequences. Sometimes, I forget.

The price is right for a pillApr 07, 2008 If you want something that works better and costs less, get a tub of psyllium husk and chug away. The problem is that drinking husk it is not as convenient as taking it in pill form. Plus you don't gag with the pills. The down side is that for cholesterol lowering purposes, and to get moving, you need to take 6 a day. It all adds up over time, but 2-160 count bottles gives you over 50 days for under $25 if you subscribe.
